Camp Joy has been blessed to see lives changed through God’s work. We want to keep building a future where more kids experience His love and truth.

Your Gift Provides:

• Faithful Leaders: We are growing! The summer of 2025 saw a significant increase in staffing due to the increase of camper enrollment. Equipping, training and paying staff, who serve as Christ centered mentors and role models, is a need we will need to meet as Camp Joy continues to see growth. We are also significantly behind what other camps are paying their staff.

  • Since 2021, Camp Joy campers increased from 371 to 702. Praise the Lord!! Our needs for more staff are vital to support this growth and meet our mission.

  • Committing to $20 monthly, for one year, provides the wages for (1) counselor to serve at Camp Joy.

• Safe, Welcoming Facilities: Maintaining/updating cabins, the chapel, staff housing, and dining hall where campers can learn, play, and worship in a safe environment is a high priority. This camp has been a place of blessing for generations. Time and countless memories have been created here. Now we’re eager to restore and strengthen them for the future. Projects we are focusing and saving for the next 3 years include:

  • Air conditioning in the chapel and dining hall ($15,000-$20,000)

  • Updated windows, doors, and/or siding for the cabins, dining hall, cooks’ cabin, staff house, and boys bathhouse ($25,000-$30,000)

    • We are excited to announce 100 windows have been donated to Camp Joy!!! Our goal is to raise the labor to install and the materials for the doors to complete this vital project.

  • Interior remodel of the nurse and cooks’ cabin

  • Staff house upgrades that include air conditioning upstairs and clean bedrooms for full time staff, speakers and volunteers.

  • Updating the RV sites to open up more opportunities for volunteers and rentals ($25,000)

  • A safe dock system we can rely on to consistently endure the wear and tear of summer campers ($20,000)

• Camper Scholarship Fund: It is important that every child has the opportunity to attend Camp Joy and experience the gospel through the life-changing environment of camp. Each year, Camp Joy provides approximately $4,000–$5,000 in camper scholarships to help families who need financial assistance.

  We actively pursue grants and seek generous donations to support this scholarship fund. Contributing to the Camper Scholarship Fund is a meaningful way to ensure that every child, regardless of financial circumstances, has the opportunity to come to camp, build relationships, and hear the message of the gospel at Camp Joy.

    Our goal is to find 40 donors willing to commit to $20/month to help us meet our scholarship goal by the first day of camp (June 7th).

    • Committing to $20 monthly, for one year, sends (1) camper to Camp Joy at no cost.
