Important Tidbits for 2026
Welcome to Camp Joy registration 2026! Thank you for choosing Camp Joy. Select your camp(s) options below.
Camp Joy understands camp can be expensive. We want to help you save cost and reduce obstacles to attend camp. See below for ways you can save costs to attend Camp Joy.
For ALL discounts, it is vital to contact Tyler BEFORE you finalize payment. The discount will not work unless you have it FIRST and then make a payment.
Payments: Camp is a big expense. The costs add up fast. For this , we are offering payment plans for 2026. The sooner you enroll, the more spread out we can make the payments.
Scholarship: We offer various levels of scholarship for campers to attend Camp Joy. Our scholarship fund is limited. Our priority is to provide scholarships to families enrolled in their school's free/reduced lunch programs.
Church Support: Traditionally, churches will provide financial assistance. We ask that you check with your church first.
Fall Teens Retreat Discount: If you attend the summer junior high or teens camp AND want to attend the fall teens weekend, we will provide a $15 discount to attend the fall teen retreat. Discount code will be provided AFTER the summer camp has been completed OR you can register for both and we will provide the code for you.
Double Camp Discount: Attend 1st-4th, 4th-6th or 7th-9th and get the 2nd one $50 off.
Volunteer: We provide 50% off your registration if you commit to volunteer for a full camp week. Volunteer positions include: kitchen, leading activities, and maintenance. This applies to individual volunteers only. We offer a family volunteer option as well. See below.
Camper Referral: Know a camper that hasn't been to Camp Joy? Receive $25 off your registration IF you refer a camper that has not attended Camp Joy.
Sibling Discount: If you are registering more than one camper, from the same household, we will provide $15 off per additional camper. Important: the first camper pays full price. Each additional camper receives the discount.
Counselor Discount: If you are a head or junior counselor and work 3 weeks at Camp Joy, we will provide your junior high or high teens week 100% off. Training week does NOT count as a week. To receive this discount, the counselor must also attend training week (May 31st-June 5th).
Family Volunteer Discount: We are launching a new program for 2026. Our goal is to recruit families to volunteer at Camp Joy. If you have a camper attending AND you want to volunteer as a family, we have you set up. Families will receive a bedroom with bunkbeds, meals provided and 100% registration covered for one camper per week. Have other kids as well but they aren’t campers? That's okay. We want the whole family on site. Reach out to Tyler for more information.
2025 Rates Discount: Camp Joy raised our registration $50 for the 2026 season. If you would like to pay 2025 rates, we ask that you commit to one year of monthly giving of at least $10/month. If you are interested, reach out to Tyler on how you can save $50 with registration and donate (tax deductible) to Camp Joy!

This camp is an absolute blast! Over four fantastic days, campers have endless opportunities to dive into swimming, play exciting games, perform fun skits, and participate in inspiring chapel sessions. Enjoy delicious meals, laugh and hang out with our incredible staff, and build friendships that can last a lifetime.
Each day is packed with adventure, spiritual growth, and memorable experiences that campers will cherish forever.
Whether it’s splashing in the lake, cheering at games, or sharing stories around chapel, there’s never a dull moment at the 4th-6th grade camp.

This shorter, three-day week is the perfect introduction for our youngest campers! It’s a wonderful opportunity for them to play, worship, and learn about God’s amazing love. Designed especially for younger kids and first-time campers, this week is highly supervised, safe, and full of hands-on activities. It’s the perfect way for eager little campers to dive into fun, make new friends, and begin a summer full of exciting adventures at Camp Joy!

There is a family max of $360Come enjoy the lake with your family over these four days and three nights. We will house you, feed you, clean up your dishes, and you will have lots of free time on beautiful Star Lake! There will be several optional activities set up throughout the weekend, as well as chapels and a speaker.

June 28th-July 3rd: 7th-9th Grade

This week of camp is an unforgettable experience for middle schoolers! It’s a time for campers to start owning their Christian faith, ask meaningful questions, and explore God’s love in a fun, supportive environment. Packed with exciting activities, games, and new friendships, this week at beautiful Star Lake is full of adventure, laughter, and spiritual growth.
Due to the 4th of July holiday, if you wish to pick up your camper early, please let us know.

July 26th-July 31st: 10th-12th Grade

Highly Relational! This is the week of connection, and we’ve saved the best for last! With less structure and more fun, it’s your chance to hang out with friends you’ve grown up with and make memories that last. High Teens is all about doing what you love—late nights, sleeping in, an incredible speaker, engaging seminars, a talent show, a volleyball tournament, and late-night conversations that go on forever. One thing’s for sure… this week always “ends too soon”!

Scholarship Policy: Camp Joy believes every camper should have the opportunity to experience God's amazing grace and love at Camp Joy. For this reason, we don't want financial reasons to prevent a camper from coming to Camp Joy. If your camper needs financial assistance, reach out to director@campjoyminnesota.org on how to apply.
We can only provide one scholarship per camper per summer.
Camp Joy Summer Camp Policies
Refund Policy: All registrations require a non-refundable deposit of $50 (full payment will be collected at checkout). In the event of cancellation, Camp Joy will collect $50 and provide a full refund of the remaining balance.
Cell Phone Policy: Camp is an opportunity to set aside the device and engage in a community. Parents, please keep devices with you. If not, we will ask for them at check-in and return them after the week. If cell phones are seen, staff will politely confiscate them, and we will return them at the end of the week. This eliminates many possible issues and gives every camper a better chance to enjoy camp and what it offers. Please sign below to agree to this policy.
Come Once, Leave Once Policy: To better serve our campers, staff and leadership, we have adopted the policy of come once and leave once. If a camper decides to leave camp either by their own doing (high school week) or with a predetermined guardian, they will not be allowed to return to Camp Joy. Please sign below to agree to this policy.
